By accessing or using eGateSNAP ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Platform is designed for educational institutions to manage campus movement and is not intended for personal consumer use.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Actions taken under your account specifically map to your institutional role:
Responsible for user management, sensitive configuration, and ensuring verifying guard devices are secure.
Authorized to scan IDs and grant entry/exit. Must visually verify photo matches before processing.
Authorized to approve leave requests. Approvals are final and logged immediately.
The Platform scales automatically, but institutions may be subject to rate limits to prevent abuse (e.g., excessive API calls or bulk data scraping). We reserve the right to temporarily suspend access if unusual traffic patterns suggests a security breach.
eGateSNAP is a verification tool, not a physical security barrier. We are not liable for physical security breaches, unauthorized entry due to stolen credentials, or hardware failures on client devices. The Institution retains full responsibility for physical campus security policies.
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. Immediate termination may occur in cases of severe Terms violation or illegal usage of the Platform.
